Woman from West Lothian has been busy making masks during the pandemic

Face masks may well be the most visible sign of how things have changed when the lockdown ends.While there has been controversy about a lack of PPE, there is also lack of basic face protection.One West Lothian woman has set out to change that.But with demand soaring, she needs help.Sheryl Heggie said: “With the new advice from the Scottish Government promoting the use of face coverings I have been sewing non-stop.“I can’t do this alone and would love others to join me.

My aim is to donate masks to essential workers who may not have any adequate face covering. “So, if you have some spare time and a sewing machine please get in touch either through my Facebook page or by phone.
