Woman shares handy hack for stopping face mask from 'destroying' your ears

As a way to try and lessen the spread of coronavirus, a number of people have been wearing face masks when out and about. If you've been wearing one, you you might have noticed that when you take it off, you're left with an uncomfortable friction burn on the tops of your ears.

Thankfully, one woman has shared her handy trick for how she stops her face mask from rubbing against her ears. She shared the hack in a post on the Reddit Life Hack page alongside the caption: "Wearing a face mask for an extended period of time. "Sew a button to a headband to keep from destroying your ears".

What she has done is sewn a button on either side of her soft fabric headband, and has looped the strings, which would usually sit against her ears, around
