The Queen will issue a rousing wartime-like message to the nation this weekend, telling us "we are all in it together" it has been revealed.
The 93-year-old monarch, who usually only addresses the nation at Christmas or times of national crisis, is expected to say: "We are in this together – and we will all get through it together, too." Her address from Windsor Castle, Berkshire, where she is in isolation with husband Philip, 98, will air at 8pm on Sunday night.
Buckingham Palace has not revealed details of the recording but The Daily Mail report she will "emphasise togetherness, highlighting the nation’s cohesion in the face of adversity".
