YouTube bans all anti-vaccine videos in bid to tackle Covid misinformation

Covid vaccine content from its website, it has been announced. The video hosting website says it will expand its medical misinformation policy with new guidelines on vaccines approved for use in Scotland and across the world.Videos which falsely claim that vaccines are dangerous, do not reduce transmission or contain misinformation on the substances contained in the vaccines will be removed under the new policy.

This will include content that makes unverified claims that approved vaccines cause autism, cancer or infertility, or that substances inside the vaccines can track those who receive them.

YouTube said it has removed 130,000 videos for violating its Covid-19 vaccine policies since the emergence of the pandemic last year.New rules.
