Dozens of untested hospital patients were sent into Renfrewshire’s care homes before a tragic wave of covid deaths, a damning new report has confirmed.In one case, a sick resident - who had tested positive for coronavirus - was transported to Elderslie Care Home without a negative follow-up test.In the first three months of the pandemic 27 residents died in the home, operated by Advinia Health Care.Elderslie Care Home received 25 new residents from hospital between March 1 and May 31 last year.Fourteen of the people discharged to Elderslie were never tested for Covid-19.And alarmingly, at least one person who had tested positive for coronavirus was discharged there without a subsequent negative test.Now MSP Neil Bibby, below, is calling for
