Zayn Malik has spoken out in response to the police murder of George Floyd in Minnesota, US, last month, describing the "racism, ignorance, and arrogance" weighing down the country.
Floyd's death, and the murder of many others, has sparked worldwide protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, in an effort to conquer global racial injustice.
On "Blackout Tuesday," former One Direction star Zayn shared a statement of his own, showing his support for the international protests.
The 27-year-old had taken a break from social media since last month but broke his silence last night to join in the global outrage.
