More than 2,000 coronavirus support packages are being delivered to Manchester homes every day - but the city council says more supplies are needed to meet demand.
Fresh calls have been made for businesses to part with any spare stock to help those are struggling to put food on the table during lockdown.
The council’s ‘vital’ coronavirus support hub has also received more than 4,500 calls in the first two weeks of opening.
