The number of people with Covid-19 in Irish hospitals remains relatively stable. The latest figures show that, as of 8pm last night, there were 233 people being treated for the virus.
28 of these patients were receiving treatment in intensive care units, of which 17 were on ventilators. St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny accounted for the largest number of Covid cases at 31, followed by Letterkenny University Hospital in Donegal, where there were 29 coronavirus patients.
There were 25 people being treated at St Vincent's University Hospital, 22 at Tallaght University Hospital and 21 at the Mater Hospital, all in Dublin.
