There have been 726 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Northern Ireland in the last 24 hours. It is the second-highest number of daily cases recorded there, following the record high of 934 yesterday.
There has been one further death reported by Stormont's Department of Health. The death toll now stands at 583 while the cumulative number of cases is 13,612.
There are 65 patients in hospital confirmed to have the virus, with nine of those in ICU. The number of people with positive test results over the past seven days compared to the previous week is rising rapidly.
The incidence rate per 100,000 is 721 in Derry/Strabane (up from 478), 655 in Belfast (up from 192) and 484 in Newry/Down (up from 268).
