Sale North saw 75 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the week ending July 6, according to the government’s interactive covid data tracking map.
Cases there almost doubled over a seven day period, increasing from 39 cases the previous week. Sale North now has an infection rate of 878 per 100,000 population.
Last week, Gorse Hill became Trafford’s latest hotspot areas after its number of cases soared, almost quadrupling in the week ending June 29.
