Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government on Tuesday announced the launch of an application that will inform people in the city about the availability of the hospital beds and ventilators in the government and private hospitals around them. The new app - Delhi corona app - was launched to bridge the information gap between the citizens and the hospitals in their fight against the covid-19 pandemic.

In a bid to contain coronavirus infection in the capital, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal announced sealing of Delhi borders with neighbouring states. Delhi-Gurugram and Delhi-Noida borders will be shut for a week. Only essential service providers will allowed. Employees could cross the border by showing their identification cards or ID cards, Kejriwal said.

As the number of coronavirus cases in the national capital are on the rise steadily, the Delhi government today decided to seal its border with neighbouring states. Delhi-Noida and Delhi-Gurugram border will be closed for the next one week, said Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in a briefing today. Only essential service providers with valid passes will be allowed to enter the national capital territory.
