Delhi border sealed. No entry for those without passes from Noida, Gurugram

As the number of coronavirus cases in the national capital are on the rise steadily, the Delhi government today decided to seal its border with neighbouring states.

Delhi-Noida and Delhi-Gurugram border will be closed for the next one week, said Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in a briefing today.

Only essential service providers with valid passes will be allowed to enter the national capital territory. "The moment we open the borders, people from across the country will come to Delhi for treatment," Kejriwal said.

He also asked the citizens of Delhi to decide whether borders should be opened up or not. Delhiites have time till Friday to WhatsApp or email their suggestions to Arvind Kejriwal. "We will take a decision again in one week
