Adam Schlesinger‘s girlfriend Alexis Morley is sharing one of the last photos taken of the Fountains of Wayne musician.

The 52-year-old songwriter passed away from COVID-19 novel coronavirus on April 1. The image is of the couple on a walk together in upstate New York in mid-March.

In her emotional caption on Instagram, Alexis explained that this was really the last great day they would spend together, as the next morning, he woke up with a fever. “I tried to keep him comfortable, nurse him back to health, as we waited for the fever to break.
