Supermarket chain Aldi have updated its store policies in an effort to further protect consumers and staff in the ongoing fight against coronavirus.
The German supermarket company – which has 830 stores across the UK – will be providing disinfectant wipes to all customers to wipe down trollies and baskets before shopping in store.
They are also making changes to their opening hours to offer dedicated time slots for the elderly, vulnerable, and emergency services workers.
Changes are also being made to increase the limit for contactless payments and restrictions on the maximum number of products that can be bought are also being lifted.
