Elderly could face Coronavirus restrictions for eighteen months, report claims

Over 70s face social distancing restrictions for up to eighteen months, under plans reportedly being drawn up by UK Government advisers.

It is part of a “three stage” Coronavirus approach leaked yesterday which could also see some shops reopen next month. However, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said last week she would be willing to make different decisions north of the border and it is unclear whether the UK plan would apply to Scotland.
