NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man who is accused of "randomly" attacking a person at a laundromat in Tennessee and is a suspect in a series of other similar attacks was arrested, according to authorities. Khadree Renfro, 30, was taken into custody last week by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and booked on three counts of attempted criminal homicide, officials said. The police department previously shared footage from inside a laundromat in the Nashville area which showed a man "who randomly, and without provocation," attacked a 45-year-old patron on March 22. "He is a suspect in 3 other similar attacks on 3/16, 18 and 19. PHILADELPHIA - City leaders in Philadelphia reiterated Monday that the tap water is safe to use following a chemical spill in Bucks County, but their reassurance has not been enough to quell the concerns of some residents who rushed to the stores to stock up on bottled water. Health officials in Bucks County, just north of Philadelphia, said Sunday that a leak late Friday evening at the Trinseo Altuglas chemical facility in Bristol Township spilled between 8,100 and 12,000 gallons (30,700 and 120,000 liters) of a water-based latex finishing solution. PHILADELPHIA - Child care services in Philadelphia and beyond are being impacted by staffing shortages that have left classrooms empty and working parents desperate to find alternatives. Kyesha Moody, the Director of Brightside Academy in Southwest Philadelphia, said finding qualified staff that understands child development and the difficulties facing the profession has been hard.The school, located on Woodland Avenue, had nine empty classrooms when FOX 29's Monica Evans visited the building on Tuesday. Mai Miksic from Children First advocacy group said on average a kindergarten teacher will earn $40k a year, which is double the amount of what an early childhood education teacher with similar skills makes. She believes the low pay for qualified staff, paired with childcare fees billed to parents is putting a burden on our economy. The costs for a child and infant, Miksic explained, can cost as much as $1,600-$1,700 a month, or $20k per year. "Parents work in every sector from healthcare to education to restaurants, so the economy isn't going to recover fully unless we solve this child care crisis," Miksic said.

Emmerdale couple Mark Jordon and Laura Norton have opened up about their son’s Usher syndrome diagnosis.
