Army chiefs have slammed a group of squaddies who snuck half-a-dozen girls into their barracks for a party despite lockdown restrictions.

The soldiers were filmed drinking and dancing with their guests during a notorious 'block party' at their Lille Barracks in Aldershot, Hants, reports The Sun.

An Army spokesman said the party, at the home of 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards who guard Buckingham Palace, "clearly contradicts" the Armed Forces' strict discipline.

They added it "undermines" the support the forces' provides to the health authorities and the incident will be dealt with "accordingly".
