Arsenal are reportedly vying for Real Madrid outcast James Rodriguez - but Everton are frontrunners for his services. The Colombia international has had a topsy turvy few years.

Real paid around £63m to secure his services in 2014, but he has never fully established himself at the Bernabeu despite his mammoth transfer fee.

He’s now back in the Spanish capital after a two-season stay at Bayern Munich although looks set to be moved on once the coronavirus crisis is over.

Arsenal have long been linked with a raid for the versatile attacker. Reports in Spain suggest the Gunners will try again to secure his signature if the price is right.
