Arsenal chairman Sir Chips Keswick has retired from the Premier League club's board. The former businessman has been involved with the Gunners since 2005, taking the director of football position before being promoted to chairman in 2013.
He has presided over a period which has seen the north London side win three FA Cups. A club statement from owners Stan and Josh Kroenke reads: “We would like to express our immense gratitude for everything Sir Chips has done for Arsenal Football Club as a board member and chairman of the board over the past 15 years. "His extensive business knowledge and experience coupled with his deep love of Arsenal have made him the perfect chairman.
