Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is reportedly looking to strengthen in three areas in the summer transfer window. The summer market was set to return to its traditional end date this season following a vote from the top-flight clubs earlier this year.
At a shareholders’ meeting between the clubs in February, it was decided that the transfer window will shut at the end of August/early September after two seasons where it closed on the eve of the campaign.
But the ongoing issues surrounding coronavirus could have unprecedented effects on transfer spending this year. The window in England it still set to open on June 10 but reports claim it could open in May and teams will be able to bolster their squads during the campaign to help aid the problems
