There has been plenty of change at Arsenal since Mikel Arteta took over from Unai Emery - and not just on the pitch. The Spaniard has quickly put a tactical shift in place in a bid to move on from a disappointing spell under Emery.
It seems he also had plenty he was keen to change away from the training ground as well. When Arteta took the job in December, Arsenal's transfer plans for the January window were already well advanced, particularly in terms of scouting.
But that did not stop Arteta from putting his stamp on things, with ESPN claiming he advised head of football Raul Sanllehi and technical director Edu to rip up one of Emery's plans.
