Arsenal 's Pablo Mari has admitted he is concerned that the current suspension of football due to the coronavirus outbreak will harm his chances of making his loan switch permanent.
Mari joined the Gunners on loan from Flamengo in January but has made just two appearances for the senior team so far. There is a deal in place which would allow Arsenal to sign him permanently at the end of the season but the uncertainty surrounding the sport means a move is up in the air.
Although there is a resounding desire among the Premier League sides to complete the season as soon as it is safe to do so, there is a chance that no more games could be played.
