Arsenal staff have been warned not to expect a big-spending summer in the transfer market by the club's head of football Raul Sanllehi.
The coronavirus crisis has hit the finances of football clubs across the country hard, and Arsenal are just one of the sides feeling the pinch.
It was thought Mikel Arteta would be backed heavily in the market over the off-season to help rebuild The Gunners' squad. But in a video message to non-playing staff, Sanllehi - along with chief executive Vinai Venkatesham - admitted Arsenal would not be forking out huge sums on new additions.
As reported by the Evening Standard, Sanllehi added that the club were not prioritising transfers at the current time either.
