Arsenal have confirmed they have come to an agreement with players and staff over pay cuts during the coronavirus pandemic. The Gunners are one of several clubs who have turned to demanding pay cuts during the COVID-19 lockdown, agreeing a voluntary 12.5 per cent scheme.
And they had an issue as players rejected a plan for the next 12 months for the same amount. But a deal has now been reached at the north London side.
A club statement read: “We are pleased to announce that we have reached a voluntary agreement with our first-team players, head coach and core coaching staff to help support the club at this critical time. “The move follows positive and constructive discussions.
