A mum has urged people to stop treating lockdown as "one big holiday" after her seven-month-old son was diagnosed with coronavirus.
Courtney Barker's son Arthur was rushed to Derriford Hospital on Thursday after his temperature soared to 39.3C, leading him to fall "unconscious and floppy".
Arthur, who has now been confirmed to have the virus, had been self-isolating for four weeks with his mum, dad and two brothers, as three family members are 'high-risk', with heart disease, kidney disease and severe asthma.
Courtney said her husband, Kenyon, left their home in Plympton twice in the period they had been isolating to pick up essentials, "yet coronavirus still managed to make it's way" into their home.
