New advice has just been issued on whether you should take ibuprofen when you have symptoms coronavirus symptoms. Health experts previously advised people to only take paracetamol as it is less likely to cause side effects.

False social media stories also fuelled confusion over whether it is safe to take the over-the-counter painkiller. Now the UK Government has issued its advice on ibuprofen and Covid-19.

The Commision on Human Medicines (CHM) has concluded that patients can take both paracetamol and ibuprofen to treat certain coronavirus symptoms, reports  HullLive.
