Barcelona manager Quique Setien has admitted he is "counting on" Philippe Coutinho being at the club next season - despite the Brazilian widely being expected to depart.
Coutinho has not played under Setien, who took over from Ernesto Valverde earlier this season, having spent the campaign on loan at Bayern Munich.
Having failed to do enough to convince the German club to activate their purchase option, he has been heavily linked with a move back to England with several Premier League clubs making enquiries.
Barcelona have been keen to sell and recoup some of the huge fee they paid to land him from Liverpool. But Setien has now opened the door to him having another chance to prove himself at the Nou Camp and turn things around.
