Bayern Munich have reportedly made a £35million bid for Leroy Sane after agreeing terms with the Manchester City winger on a five-year deal.
The Bundesliga giants have been chasing Sane since last summer, when their pursuit of the Germany international was eventually ended by his injury in the Community Shield clash against Liverpool.
Sane has not played since tearing his anterior cruciate ligament, but the 24-year-old was back in training and targeting a return to action when the Premier League season was suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, with clubs facing financial shortfalls because of the impact of the virus, Bayern are hoping to land their man for much less than the £88m they were prepared to pay for him
