BBC offers helping hand with homeschool as it reveals biggest ever push of online education

Parents trying to help their children learn at home have been given a helping hand from the BBC. The broadcaster has revealed its biggest ever push of online education - bringing programmes and lessons to people's homes.

Its BBC Teach website is already proving massively popular as it's broken down into subjects and age groups, featuring classroom resources for Key Stages 1 and 2.

And starting from Monday, April 20 - when many pupils would have ordinarily been returning to school following the Easter break - its newly expanded education offer, titled BBC Bitesize Daily and filmed in Match Of The Day’s studio in Salford, takes off.
