Officials announced that the bridge reopened at 6 a.m. after unrest and widespread damage from rioting force them to close access to the city.
A planned march also prompted the closure of the Ben Franklin Bridge as protesters marched from the it to Liberty Bell as a demonstration for justice after the death of George Floyd on May 25.
