Staff from a building firm are swapping their toolboxes for food hampers to help out during the coronavirus crisis. Construction giant Seddon has sent four vans and two cars to aid volunteers at Salford Foodbank who are continuing to support families during the lockdown.
And 15 members of staff from the Bolton-based company have also given up their own time to help make deliveries to 130 families in the city.
It comes during a busy period for food charities, with many self-employed people struggling to support their families and other vulnerable members of the public trapped at home.
