Catherine Tyldesley's new drama Viewpoint suspended after coronavirus case

Catherine Tyldesley's new show Viewpoint had to suspend filming after a positive coronavirus test on set. Filming for the drama had resumed in September with social distancing measures in place, but studio bosses had to halt production altogether when one of the staff members tested positive.

It is not yet known whether the case was a crew member or one of the actors. Former Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley and her co-star Bronagh Waugh, who appeared in Hollyoaks and The Fall, were pictured filming scenes for the thriller in Manchester on Friday.
