UEFA have officially postponed the Champions League final - and have set no date when it could be played. European football’s governing body announced the Champions League final, Europa League final and Women’s Champions League final have all been put on hold - and could be scrapped altogether.
It comes after a meeting of the European Clubs’ Association which is trying to find a solution to the coronavirus crisis which has gripped football.
All three finals were due to be played in May and last week they put in place provisional dates of June 24 and 27 - but they now concede these are highly unlikely and there was discussion at the ECA whether to abandon them altogether.
