Chloe Ferry has revealed she has undergone state of the art DNA testing in a bid to boost her thinning hair. The former Geordie Shore star claims that her luscious locks are thinning due to ongoing stress in her life, as well as years of extensions. Now, Chloe has undergone a genetic test used to discover the underlying factors of the development of alopecia and hair loss - at the award-winning hair transplant clinic Juvida. The test also focuses on providing fully-customised treatments for alopecia - a condition that hit the headlines after Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at The Oscars for joking about Jada Pinkett Smith's buzzcut for her alopecia areata. While Chloe doesn't suffer from alopecia areata, she believes her stress levels "being very up and down" are the reason behind her hair thinning out.
The 26-year-old hopes that the DNA testing will reveal the secrets to her hair loss, as well as the secrets to getting her bounce back. She said: "A couple of years ago I was struggling with my hair because of bleaching and hair extensions, I want my hair for the summer to be really thick and healthy."My stress is very up and down at the minute, I think with covid and stuff, I feel I'm alright now but that's probably why my hair's so thin."I feel hair is the most important thing on a person, once I've had a blow-dry I feel like Kim Kardashian."The star had a tongue and cheek swab at the clinic before her samples were sent off to Barcelona, where experts will analyse the genetic contents.Once the results are in, Chloe will undergo a specifically personalised treatment at the clinicShe said: "They put the swab on your tongue and the sides of your mouth - it was so quick."They send it over to Barcelona to get a DNA analysis done,.
