The creator of Clap for Carers has explained he reasons for wanting the weekly event to end tonight. Annemarie Plas appeared on Thursday's Good Morning Britain after saying over the weekend that while she was "overwhelmed" by the support for the ritual, felt it is better to stop while it is at its 'peak.'
