Kate Garraway has been inundated with support from fans as she prepares for her first Thursday without the clap for carers. The Good Morning Britain star, 53, burst into tears during last week's event amid fears it would be the last one.
The weekly event is being wound done more than two months after Brits started taking to their doorsteps every Thursday to thank everyone working on the coronavirus frontline.
Kate has previously credited the clap with lifting her spirits while her husband Derek Drap battles the deadly bug in hospital and fans have been sending their good wishes ahead of her first night without it.
