The Belgian Pro League has officially ended, with Club Brugge crowned as champions. As with most European leagues, Belgium's top flight has been suspended since March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The first portion of the season had already been completed, so it was decided to declare the table final as it stood with Brugge 15 points clear at the summit.
The Scottish Premiership is in a similar position, with Celtic 13 points clear at the top when the action ground to a halt. Initially Belgium's decision put them on a collision course with UEFA, who insisted that leagues should be played to a finish.
However, that stance softened and it was ruled that leagues could end due to financial issues or government decrees. Get all the latest
