A policewoman was taken to hospital after she was struck by rocks as she attempted to break up a group of youths at a building site.
The officer was called to a site on Newton Avenue in Cambuslang, Lanarkshire on Friday, April 24 at around 9pm after it was reported a group of youths had come together amid the coronavirus lockdown.
As police descended on the rear of the building site, some of the people involved fled the scene. However, some remained in the area and started throwing rocks at officers.
One policewoman had to be taken to Hairmyres Hospital to be treated for injuries. She has since been released.Four men - two aged 16, a 20-year-old and a 21-year-old - were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
