Health officials have revealed the number of people who have been discharged from Salford Royal Hospital after they recovered from Covid-19.
Pennine Acute Trust, which runs the hospital, said a total of 149 patients who tested positive for coronavirus have been declared fit to return home since the pandemic began.
Among those to have recovered at Salford Royal is ex-Worsley MP Terry Lewis. He was being treated after suffering a stroke when he contracted COVID-19.
Mr Lewis was moved to an isolation unit, where he received treatment before being allowed to return home. According to the latest NHS England figures, 138 people have died from the virus at Salford Royal.
