Coronation Street spoilers as Gemma and Chesney get Joseph health bombshell and new Bailey arrives as Ed's gambling spirals

A new face arrives on the cobbles next week and Gemma and Chesney get shock news about Joseph in Coronation Street. As fans fo the ITV soap know, Gemma was convinced that her stepson was really ill, despite doctors saying that wasn't the case and having a word with Chesney about his wife.

However, in upcoming scenes, Joseph tells Gemma he doesn’t feel well, but Gemma’s sceptical, due to being aware she overreacted the last time.

But when Chesney’s called out of work to pick him up from school, he berates Gemma for not realising he was ill. Then, when Chesney suggests she’s not coping, Gemma takes offence and branding herself a terrible mother, storms out.

Later, as Gemma prepares for their early Christmas with her mum Bernie and brother Paul Foreman, Chesney remarks that Joseph still seems unwell.
