Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson was crowned King of the Jungle earlier this month after he won the hearts of the nation and his fellow camp mates.
Sam took home the I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! winner's title, beating former boxer and runner up Tony Bellew, and broadcaster Nigel Farage, who came in third place.
However, thanks to recent information, it's been revealed that this result could have gone very differently. It comes as Sam himself admitted that he almost pulled out of the entire show on day one.
Sam sat down with his best mate and Staying Relevant podcast co host, Pete Wicks to chat about all things I'm a Celeb, where he admitted that he had a "full-blown" panic attack on the first day of jungle life. "So on the first day when we go in, I had a panic attack," Sam shared. "And I went in really guns blazing, I was so excited," he continued, before adding: "I was like 'oh my god everyone's here', like energy through the roof and then suddenly it hit me what we were doing and I literally sat on my bed and went 'oh my god'".The 31 year old then recalled his physical reaction to this, which he said included a fast heart rate and sweating.
