Coronavirus can live on your phone for up to 9 days, here’s how to clean it

As tests are starting to prove that the coronavirus (or COVID-19) can live on surfaces and in the air for longer than we initially thought, experts are urging people to wash their mobile as much as they wash their hands.

An Infectious Diseases and Immunology specialist told the Daily Mail that the virus is just as contagious on other surfaces as it is on your hands.

In an interview with the site, he noted the virus can pass on to more people via contact with practically any surface – and people should practice caution when handling their mobile phones.
