A young child was left with his mum's dead body for over 12 hours after she died from coronavirus, before both were found by authorities.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the unidentified 42-year-old woman was most likely dead for 12-16 hours, before being discovered at her Coweta County home.
Tests following the death of the health care worker confirmed that she had contracted COVID-19. The Georgia health care worker was a mammogram technician at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, however it is unclear how she contracted the bug.
