Britain is adapting to the new normal as the nation gets used to the coronavirus lockdown. In a bid to slow the spread of Covid-19 so the NHS can cope with the number of patients who need hospital treatment.
Pubs, cafes, restaurants and theatres have closed, along with all shops selling non-essential items. People are being told to only leave home when they need essential supplies, like food and medicine, or once a day for exercise.
Boris Johnson also advised people to have their supermarket shopping delivered if possible. But people have expressed concerns about how they can make sure the deliveries they get from the supermarket are safe.
