Juventus duo Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi have made a full recovery from coronavirus after testing positive for the deadly disease last month, the club have confirmed.
Defender Rugani was the first Serie A star to contract COVID-19 and Matuidi revealed that he had also tested positive a week later.
Now, Juventus have revealed that the pair have had further swab tests which have come back clean, meaning they no longer have the disease.
A club statement read: "Rugani and Matuidi underwent, as per protocol, a double-check with diagnostic tests (swabs) for the coronavirus. "The tests came back with negative results.
