A shortage of body bags has reportedly led to hospitals being forced to wrap coronavirus victims in sheets. The shocking revelation has left funeral directors concerned about the safety of their staff and fears they are at greater risk of infection, according to the Mail on Sunday.
The paper has reported that one undertaker from north London even filmed himself next to a man who died from Covid-19 and was wrapped in a plastic sheet, with a yellow sticker attached warning of a 'health hazard'.
