Families have been plagued by a swarm of flies inside their homes while in coronavirus lockdown as the temperature rises. In Avonmouth, near Bristol, clouds of flies are common every year as the area is in close proximity to nearby waste plants.
However, the warm weather has triggered their early arrival taking off from the 42 recycling centres surrounding the village, making lockdown even more difficult.
