Margaret Ferrier has claimed that SNP bosses 'hung her out to dry' in the ongoing scandal. The Rutherglen and Hamilton West member has been suspended by her party for travelling to Glasgow from Westminster after testing positive for the deadly virus.
But she has now revealed that party chiefs ordered her to refer herself to cops and sign off on a draft statement she would read.
Ferrier said she was then told an hour later that the whip had been removed from her- which she says was only due to the public outrage over her rule breaking. She remains in her home self-isolating after the positive test- and has insisted she will not resign from the £80,000 a year post.
