U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday he signed an executive order to prevent the hoarding of medical supplies such as personal protective equipment.

Attorney General William Barr said the order would designate the materials as “scarce” and doing so would prevent people from accumulating them in excess of “reasonable personal or business needs” or selling them in excess of current prices.
