Brazen cov-idiots forced councils to shut parks today after thousands ignored government lockdown rules and were spotted sunbathing on the grass during Saturday’s mini heatwave.
Brockwell Park in Lambeth, south London will bar entry to the public after an estimated 3,000 people flouted advice to stay at home or only go out for exercise or to buy essential items.
Lambeth Council later tweeted that locals ignored the advice and said it was “sorry it had to take the decision” and was doing it “for the wider public safety.” A spokesman tweeted: “Despite clear advice, over 3,000 people spent today in Brockwell Park, many of them sunbathing or in large groups. “This is unacceptable.
